What is the Bonne Terre property and what does it include?

Bonne Terre is a 23 acre property in Nesbit, MS, 30 minutes from anywhere in Memphis, TN.

All on property we have:

  • An event venue
  • A white chapel
  • 3 pickleball courts
  • A restaurant called Magnolia Bend Grille
  • A 10 bedroom inn called Bonne Terre Inn
  • 3 bedroom inn called the Fountain House
  • One bedroom room called the Cottage Room
  • A house with 8 beds for rent called the Pickleball House.

All the stays and the restaurant are open to the public, but can also be rented out by the wedding party! You could also rent out the whole property’s rooms for the weekend and have your wedding party and guests all in one place, no need to worry about a party bus! Are there overnight accommodations nearby?

Of course you have our 19 rooms available with our 4 different stay locations on property. You can see those options here.

However, if it is booked out we recommend several hotels nearby.

What are the catering options?

You have a choice of choosing our in house catering (at a separate cost from your booking) with a $500 discount on your food price or choose a caterer from our preferred list of caterers. We have that list not because they make us money, but because we’ve vetted many caterers over the years and have chosen the best in the area that have shown to have great food and great service at every wedding! If you do want to use our catering while using our event space, you can contact Christy at 662-781-5100 ext 2. Pricing will depend on your food choices, head count, etc.

Is there an outdoor ceremony option?

There are a couple of places for outdoor ceremonies. There’s a $200 up charge for set up and tear down of outdoor chairs. We have 150 white resin folding chairs for outside if you request them.

How far in advance do you need our final headcount?

At least one week before the date!

What is the event clean up process?

You can clean everything yourself by taking out all the trash to the dumpsters, or you could pay us $250 and we will take out the trash for you.
